The laboratory committee has an advisory role and gives an opinion on all matters relating to the organisation, functioning and life of the Unit.

It is composed of representatives of all categories of staff, 12 elected, 6 appointed by the Director and 2 ex-officio members (Director and Deputy Director).

It meets 3 or 4 times a year at the invitation of the Director or at the request of at least one third of its members.
